Black History Month | Iviwe Zita

Black history month is a month where black history is celebrated and black culture is appreciated and even though there is black history month, I feel like black history and black people should be loved and appreciated 365 days of the year.

A lot has happened over the last year and I feel like I should be able to celebrate and learn more about black history as it’s not taught in schools.

It’s up to me to educate myself about black history and my black people.

Black history month should be a month where black people come together and celebrate the things we’ve achieved and overcome as one.

We should be celebrating what our ancestors have done for us.

Celebrating them for not giving up and fighting for freedom.

Happy Black History Month to my black people.
